Pregnancy can be a happy time, but not always and not for every woman. There is increasing evidence to support that depression during pregnancy is more common than people realise.

Many women experience physical discomfort and emotional stress during pregnancy. While some women may be affected by nausea and/or indigestion, others are worried about the process of childbirth itself or all these concerns and more. The list of pregnancy worries is long for a new mum. How she copes with her concerns and not allow them to develop into serious emotional problems will make a difference to her health and wellbeing, and that of her partner and family.
